100 Leadership & Success Books You Should Read In Your Lifetime

by Alan Young February 11, 2019

I consider myself a bit of a book work when it comes to self-help and personal development books

However, I just came across this 100 Leadership & Success Books to Read in a Lifetime list compiled by Amazon and realized I've still got some reading to do as there's a lot of books on here I haven't read.

It got me pretty excited so I thought I'd share that list with you.

NOTE: If you want to get any of these books and don't mind a pre-loved copy then I recommend getting a used copy from Amazon as they usually cost a bit less.

Also, if you don't like reading then it might be worth getting the audiobook version.

I love to listen to books when driving and when at the gym. That time might as well be used for something positive.

Imagine how many books you could listen to in a year if you played them when driving or working out?

Quite a few I bet!

You can get a free trial with Audible and get Two Free Audiobooks here.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this as much I did.

21 Must Read Self Help Books That Will Change Your Life

by Alan Young February 6, 2019

I had lots of fun digging into my book collection to find this selection of books that can change your life as they have done mine.

I've got hundreds of books, and it took me a while to decide the best ones to a share with you.

Initially, it was only going to be my top ten, but I couldn't help but keep adding more as I went through my collection.

Over the years I've read these books and I can honestly say I've grown in all aspects of my life because of self-development through books and audio books.

Most people when they leave school will never read another book.

I'm so glad I carried on with my own development in the books that I read.

There are two sayings when it comes to books which I feel holds true.

The first is…

“Learners are earners.”

And

“Leaders are readers.”

I'm sure you'll agree there's truth to those statements.

Anyway, let's get stuck into my top 21 books that will change your life.

Please Note: If you go to Amazon to buy any of these books, you can sometimes get them for a dollar or two if you get a used copy. Nearly all the books I buy are used copies, and they are still usually in excellent condition.

Also if you think you would prefer to listen to a book (good for listening in the car or gym), then you can get an audio version of most books on Audible.com

You can get a free trial with Audible and get Two Free Audiobooks here.

I'll leave a link to both under each book if you want to check them out.

So with that said let's get into it.

21 Self Help Books That Will Change Your Life

Ask and It Is Given: Learning to Manifest Your Desires

I love the metaphysical personal development books. This book is a fantastic book that some find will find a bit “out there” but if you implement what's in it, then I'm sure you'll realize why you've struggled to manifest your desires and what to do about it.

Think and Grow Rich: Napoleon Hill

The classic of all classics! If you haven't heard of this book, then you must have been living under a rock. I couldn't compile this list without adding this book. The title says it all really. To put it short, your mind plays a dominant role in what you experience in life. Think And Grow Rich is such a fascinating book with such great insights from the greatest minds of that era.

Beyond Positive Thinking: A No-Nonsense Formula for Getting the Results You Want

I love this book — lots of practical instructions on achieving what you want. Again the emphasis is on how your thoughts and mind play a massive role in your success in life.

Becoming Supernatural: How Common People Are Doing the Uncommon

The author Joe Dispenza has got to be one of my all time favorites and this book is one of the best in the game. Joe demystifies the mystical by using science to unlock the mysteries surrounding the metaphysical. Honestly, if there's one book on this list I recommend, this is it.

Breaking The Habit of Being Yourself: How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New One

This book is another excellent book by Joe Dispenza. You will learn how to rewire your subconscious mind to become a more improved version of your self. So many people live their lives out of habit (which usually aren't good habits), and this book shows you how to re-invent yourself and be the person you genuinely want to be. This book is another self-help treasure that you'll love.

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change

Another classic with timeless wisdom. It's quite a big book, so it might be worth listening to the audio if you're not keen on reading long books. The 7 principles will no doubt have a profound impact on your life if you put them into action.

The Power of Intention

Wayne Dyer's books are amazing; it's a shame that he's now crossed over to the other side. His work is timeless though and will be enjoyed by me and many millions more.  This book has some incredibly inspiring tales of the power of intention from his personal experience that you will love. This book is one of my favorites of his, but all his books are good if you want to check them out.

The Miracle Morning: The Not-So-Obvious Secret Guaranteed to Transform Your Life (Before 8 AM)

Whoever said getting up in the morning need be miserable and glum. This book has got me rocking my mornings. I found that my first few hours in the morning before the rest of the world gets up can be the most productive hours of my day. I guarantee if you give this ago you'll be surprised at how much you'll love the mornings.

Three Feet from Gold: Turn Your Obstacles in Opportunities

Believe it or not, but I had an idea to make a book similar to this in my mid-twenties before this book come out. I suppose it was the divine trying to get someone to write it and I'm glad it was these guys. This book details the struggles that real successful people went through to get to where they are today. The stories are inspiring and will show you that no road to success is as smooth as it seems from the outside looking in.

Outwitting the Devil: The Secret to Freedom and Success

This book is from the same author of Think And Grow Rich, and it will blow your mind at some of the things he mentions. This book was well ahead of its time but didn't get released till Napoleon Hill died. I think Hill was worried about the potential backlash because of some of the statements and ideas laid out in this book. Some of the things he talks about will probably leave you wondering how he could even know what he knew in his day and age.

You Were Born Rich: The Keys To Maximising The Awesome Potential You Were Born With

For some reason, this is a super hard book to get hold of, and that might be why it's one of the most expensive books on this list. Bob Proctor is up there with Joe Dispenzer as one of my favorite authors. He usually does seminars, but his books are great too. Bob Proctor is someone who lives and breaths the principles in Think And Grow Rich, and his own success will show you that. This book is a classic that the average self-help reader may not have heard of. Definitely worth checking out (if you can get a copy for a reasonable price).

How to Win Friends & Influence People

Just one of the lessons I learned in this book has made such a positive impact in my life and no doubt more people respect me for it. It was such a simple lesson as well which we're ALL guilty of not following in our lives when we meet people. Give this a read if you want to be liked and respected by others.

How The Secret Changed My Life: Real People. Real Stories.

I'm sure you've heard of The Secret, who couldn't? It swept across the world like wildfire when it was released. Oprah Winfrey and countless other successful people swear by it and for good reason. This stuff works. Some people may think of The Law Of Attraction as some hokey pokey nonsense, but it's not, as many people will verify. That's what this book is about; it's inspiring stories that will BLOW YOU MIND from people who've successfully used the ideas from The Secret. Beware quite a few stories from this book brought a tear to my eye and they might for you as well.

Such a unique book. If you want to get advice on how to become rich are you going to take advice from someone who is poor or someone who is rich? Life Visioning: A Transformative Process for Activating Your Unique Gifts and Highest Potential

I've just gone through this book for the third time as of writing this. He was featured in the Secret, and that's where I first heard of him. This book is about finding your “Inner Vision” of your life purpose. You'll be able to get in tune with what you truly want to do with your life rather than what you think you should be doing. I find the words carry such a peaceful and profound teaching that I still enjoy and learn more from each time I read it. Highly recommended for the people who want more than just material success.

Success Through Stillness: Meditation Made Simple

I've always been a firm believer in the benefits of meditation. I also used to think it was something only spiritual Yogi hippies did which made me a little embarrassed to admit I meditated. However, Russell Simmons (the founder of Def Jam Records) made meditation seem cool and explained it in a way that most people will then understand the benefits of meditation. He was like me, a bit of a wild one and after meditating he has peace and happiness in his life. I recommend meditation to anyone as a way to bring peace and harmony to your mind and your life. If you don't meditate then read this book and you might see why it's worth doing.

The Dip: A Little Book That Teaches You When to Quit (and When to Stick)

This book goes well with the other I mentioned “Three Feet From Gold”. Seth shows why so many people could have been successful if they had just kept going past “The Dip.” Most new ventures start of going well then at some point they inevitably hit a rough patch called “The Dip.” This is the point most people give up and this is why you must keep going stronger than ever. You may be very close to getting over that dip. If you give up te easily then this book may be for you.

The Power of Your Subconscious Mind: Unlock The Master Key To Your Success

Neally all our actions and behaviors are derived from our subconscious mind. Joseph Murphy shows us how to unlock the potential that our subconscious has to offer. This book offers plenty of techniques to take control of your subconscious and get it working for you, not against you. Packed with plenty of case studies you'll be inspired to take action on what you discover in this excellent book.

Awaken the Giant Within: How to Take Immediate Control of Your Mental, Emotional, Physical and Financial Destiny!

How could I not mention this book by the king of personal development Tony Robbins? This is a modern-day self-help classic that was one of the first I read. Tony Robbins is a peak performance coach to the stars and he knows how to get the most out of people. If you're new to self-help books, then Awaken The Giant Within is a must to get your feet wet. I recommend the audiobook for this one as Tony himself reads it, and he's so much fun to listen to.

19 Simple Ways To Save Money Without Penny Pinching

by Alan Young January 8, 2019

Want to save money without feeling like you're absolutely broke?

The good news is, you don't have to.

In fact, it's quite easy to save money if you make a few small lifestyle changes here and there.

I'm sure you'll be happy to know you can put some cash away without going ultra frugal.

I don't know about you but I still like to live some kinda normal life when saving money and I would presume you do too.

I'm not going to keep you waiting.

Let's dive straight in.

Here are 19 ways to save money easily without being a penny pincher.

– Ibotta

When you sign up to Ibotta you get rewards and savings every time you go shopping.

Simply check Ibotta before you shop, travel, dine out, or purchase something in your favorite apps.

You then make savings when buying the things you're going to buy anyway. Ibotta works with many big names brands and retailers to help save you money.

– Ebates

With Ebates you can earn Cash Back rewards at your favorite stores! You get unbeatable shopping deals, promo codes & coupons with Ebates.

Ebates is also free to use so it's defo worth checking out.

Sign up to Ebates for free here.

2. Cut back on the meat

I was blown away by how much less my household food bill was each week after ditching the meat.

I cut back on meat out of wanting to eat a more plant-based diet and was pleasantly surprised at the difference it made to my waller.

I would estimate it cut the weekly shopping bill by a third.

You don't need to stop meat altogether but cutting back to just a few days a week will have a massive impact.

3. Buy fewer snacks from the shops

Even just a can of coke and a chocolate bar a day ads up to $50+ a month.

My fiance and I used to get a least 1 can of coke and a cholate bar each night and once we stopped doing this (again out of health reasons) we saved a nice chunk of money each month.

Give it a go and see how much you'll save on those sneaky little shop visits each day.

4. Share a car

You can save a few ways from sharing a car.

If you can manage with one car then you'll get money for your old car and you'll save on your insurance costs.

Not to mention any upkeep costs.

My fiance and I ditched our second car as didn't use it that much and it didn't affect our lives in a negative way.

We still got to where wanted and did the things we usually did.

And yeah sometimes we had to plan who was using the car at what times.

But overall it was pretty easy switching to one car and it saved us about $150 a month on costs.

5. Wait for deals to buy clothes

I buy all my clothes when there are deals happening online.

I still like to buy nice clothes so I keep an eye for deals online and then buy what I want when a store is doing a weekend sale with say 50% off.

I brought my self some really nice kicks the other day and I got them half price in the January sales.

I knew I wanted these when I saw them so I waited about 3 weeks till the shop had a sale then got them with 50% off.

The best deals are normally online and I would recommend comparing multiple stores if there's something specific you want.

6. Cancel the Gym membership

I'm not saying don't work out but you might not need your Gym membership.

Most people have memberships they don't even use.

However, if you are a fitness buff then you might want to try other ways for exercising.

Calisthenics is a great way to exercise and is totally free to do.

It's all done with body weight exercises.

If you're lucky enough to live in somewhere with Calisthenics training parks then get stuck in.

You can also run or cycle for cardio training.

Not sure if you can get it good shape without a gym membership?

Check out this street Calisthenics training video.

7. Take food out with you

Prep your food and take it out with you.

Whether it's for work or for trips out with the family.

Eating out is so expensive and most of the time it's not that great anyway.

I'd rather pack my own food with something I'll know I'll enjoy plus it'll be healthier 😉

8. Walk or bike

If you can walk or bike to work then why not save money and get some exercise in the process.

You'll be saving money and getting healthier in the process.

I love a good walk with some uplifting music.

It gets me feeling good about life and I always feel happier!

9. Quit smoking or switch to a Vape

This is a big one!

If you smoke then you'll save a fortune if you quit entirely or at least switch to vaping.

Vapes shops are everywhere and have some great flavors.

It's so much better to vape than to smoke.

I used to smoke so I know it's not easy to stop.

I also vaped and know how much cheaper it is to vape.

I went from cigarettes to vapes and then I eventually quit with the help of Alen Carr's Easy Way To Quit Smoking book.

That book has literally helped millions of people quit smoking and with ease.

If you smoke then reading that book could be the best choice you ever make.

10. Stop drinking alcohol (or cut back)

Again I used to drink A LOT!

I've stopped drinking for over 2 years as of writing this and I've saved a fortune (not to mention a few sore heads in the mornings).

I recently went to Thailand for a 2-week vacation and I was so surprised how much less money I spent this time in comparison to the time I went before when I drank.

Not only did I spend less I actually DID MORE!

The health benefits are amazing as well.

It's a win-win. Save money and feel better!

11. Eat at home more

If you cut back on dining out and eat at home more you'll save a good amount of money.

Depending on how many are in your family it can be quite substantial.

It can be quite enjoyable to cook a nice family meal and sit down and enjoy it together each night.

It helps grow that family bond plus it's so much cheaper to cook at home.

12. Use coupons

I couldn't write an article about saving money without mentioning coupons.

Magazines usually have plenty of coupons for you to use.

These may only seem small but they add up and contribute to the overall savings you will be making each month.

It's much easier to use a rebate tool though, like Paribus, iBotta or Ebates if you have a smartphone.

Sign up with them below, they're free to use and they're the most trusted 3 rebate tools available.

—> Sign up to Paribus here.

—> Sign up to Ibotta here.

—> Sign up to Ebates here.

13. Bulk buy essentials

Things like toilet paper, shampoos and washing powders go on offer from time to time and it's worth buying in bulk when they do.

As you buy these things regularly and they are a necessity then it's worth picking up a few when they are on sale.

Sometimes my bathroom has stacks of toilet paper because I've got such a good deal on them 🙂

14. Reduce utility bills.

There are a few ways you can do this.

  • Wash clothes on cold.
  • Don’t leave lights on when you don't need to.
  • Lower the temp on your thermostat.
  • Turn down the water heater. If your water isn’t being heated over 120 degrees, you are saving on energy.
  • Air dry your clothes.

15. Write a shopping list and stick to it

It's so easy to buy extra things you don't need when going shopping.

If you're trying to save money then it's time to get ruthless about using that shopping list and sticking to it.

Make sure you write down everything that you want to get then only buy those things when at the grocery store.

I know it's hard to not pick up those enticing offers by the checkout but stay strong, you can do it!

16. Eat before going grocery shopping

This ties in with the last one.

If you eat before going shopping then you won't want to buy all that tasty looking food you see when navigating the aisles.

I know for a fact that when I shop when hungry I buy loads more food that I shouldn't.

Must of it is junk food that I don't need to be eating.

If you shop weekly and you spend an extra ten bucks on foods you wouldn't have bought if you weren't hungry, then that's $40 a month saved by going grocery shopping on a full stomach.

17. Order food shopping online

Since the last 2 were on the shopping theme then it's worth mentioning it can be a good idea to order your groceries online because that way you'll definitely only buy what you need.

Plus you'll save on the gas driving to the store and back.

18. Buy second hand where possible

Somethings are fine secondhand.

For example, I buy a lot of books as I'm a big reader and I always buy second hand off amazon or in charity shops.

I would use a library but I like to collect books as well.

DVD's is another thing I buy second hand.

The other day I wanted to watch a TV series which wasn't on Netflix and on Amazon it was $20, I had a look on eBay and got it for $4 delivered.

I saved $16 and watched the TV series I wanted.

There are lots of other things you can buy second hand.

Like clothes, furniture and even buying a car just a year or 2 older than if you where to buy it brand new would save you loads of money.

Have a think.

Is there anything you've bought or want to buy that can be got for less second hand?

19. Keep track of what you spend.

The simple act of keeping track is a great way to make you more aware of what you're spending money on.

Write everything down you spend your money on each day, then review it at the end of the month.

I'm sure you'll see a lot of things you could stop spending money on.

It's the same with dieting.

When someone writes down everything they eat each day, then there's no way to be in denial about what they truly eat each day.

When you become aware of all the pointless stuff you spend money on it'll be much easier to stop buying the things you don't really need or even want.

So there you have it…

How To Start A WordPress Blog With Blue Host

by Alan Young January 4, 2019

So you're going to start a blog!

First off, let me say congratulations.

This is your first step to being able to work from home and have the freedom to do what you choose.

The happiness I get from working at home is something I'll be eternally grateful for.

I wouldn't change it for the world.

Having a blog has allowed me to be able to make money each month like these.

As you can see this is recent earnings as of writing this Bluehost Wordpress setup guide.

Here's another screenshot of the commission from another offer I promote. You can see daily sales coming in.

This is something that I linked to from one post and it still makes me money. It's only small but it all adds up.

This one is again from just one piece of content. This is only a very small commission but it's stacking and growing each month.

Won't be long till it's closer to $200 a month.

This is another offer that I've created pieces of content for.

As you can see, it's not millionaire money but it's enough to work at home and have more freedom in my life.

To be able to take my son to school and pick him up each day is priceless and it's all down to having a blog and working from home.

This is not all the offers I promote either.

The possibilities are endless.

You can do the same.

Whatever it is you want to blog about, you can with a WordPress blog.

So anyway, I'm sure you want to just get stuck in and start your own blog.

What you're about to do will take about 15 mins and your first blog will be up and running.

In this step by step guide, we will be using Bluehost to host your domain and set up your WordPress.

Bluehost is one of the most affordable and trusted hosting companies.

Wordpress recommend Bluehost as the number one choice for hosting.

You also get your Domain for free with Bluehost.

And hosting is cheap, being as low as $3.95 a month.

It's super easy to set up as well because they offer one-click Wordpress install.

No installing WordPress through some complicated cPanel backend.

It's all super easy with Bluehost as you're about to find out.

So anyway, let's do this!

How To Start A WordPress Blog With Blue Host.

The first thing to do is…

Click here to choose your domain name.

You'll then see a page like this.

Bluehost hosting main page

Then click the green get started now button.

That will take you to a page to select your plan.

It's up to you what you want to go for. The basic plan should be perfect for you as you are just setting up your first blog.

You can always change or upgrade later if you need to.

Pick your Bluehost hosting plan

Choose Your Domain.

Once you've selected your plan it's time to choose your domain.

Click here to choose your domain name.

I presume you don't already own a domain, so put your domain name in the new domain box and click next.

Note: .Com domains are the most trusted and I would recommend you going for a .com if possible.

Also, make sure your name is congruent with what you talking about on your blog.

Don't call it makemoneymom.com if your site is going to be about chicken recipes.

Also if the domain you want isn't there then try a prefix or suffix.

Here are some suffix examples you can put on the end of a domain.

  • home
  • place
  • garden
  • site
  • spot
  • park
  • dome
  • bay
  • web
  • net
  • cave
  • base
  • heaven
  • portal
  • world
  • camp

So say you wanted topgaming.com but it wasn't available you could try topgamingspot.com.

Here are some prefix examples to put at the start of a domain.

  • the
  • my
  • i
  • me
  • we
  • you
  • e
  • daily
  • top
  • pro
  • best
  • super
  • ultra
  • all
  • simply
  • smart

Bluehost domain name You can check now to see if the domain you want is available.

Once you've put your domain in the left box you'll get taken the account information page like this.

Bluehost account information

Fill out those details then choose your package information.

If you want to get a better deal then choose 24 or 36 month option.

12 months is fine though, and that's you covered for the whole year then.

Also,

Uncheck the package extras as it will make it cheaper for you.

They aren't necessary.

You can always add them later if you want them.

Choose your hosting package

Then it's time to put your payment info in.

Note: If you want to use PayPal then click the see more payment options button.

Add payment info for Bluehost

Now you've done that you'll be prompted to create a password.

Create your password

Do that step. And write down your password so you don't forget it.

Step 2 password creation

Once you created your password you'll get the congratulations message.

Simply click the login button.

Login congratulations screen

I'm not sure if it makes a difference on this next step but it might worth verifying your Whois domain records quickly before you forget.

Keep your Bluehost tab open and open another tab and check your email.

You should have an email now that says something like…WHOIS Verification for yourdomainname.com

Just open that email and click the green Verify Your Email button.

That's it and your domain will be verified.

Next, carry on where you were.

Pick a Theme

You should now be on the pick a theme page after logging in.

Choose a theme that Bluehost provides for free.

And don't worry if you don't like any that much as you can always choose a different theme later on.

I'll go more into themes after the basic set up.

Choice of Wordpress themes with Bluehost

Once you've done that you'll see a screen with a blue button that says start building.

Click that button.

Wordpress installed

You should now see the welcome to WordPress page.

It asks you to choose business or personal.

Choose which one you want or choose I don't need help.

WP dashboard

Once you've done that, you should now see the Bluehost WordPress dashboard.

More Wordpress Theme Options

So, as I said before there's plenty of options when it comes to WordPress themes.

The Bluehost's ones are good but there's plenty more available which might be more suited for what you want.

Firstly you've got the free themes that you can access via the WordPress backend.

To find them you need to click the appearance tab, then themes tab.

Once you've done that, click the add new button.

You'll then come to a theme search page

This is where you'll be able to look through all the free themes that WordPress has available.

Some are good and some not so good but there's' plenty to choose from and they're free which is perfect if you're on a budget.

Simply search through using the features, popular, latest and favorites tab or you can search manually.

There's so many so you should be able to find something you like.

Any you like the look of simply hover your mouse over it then click preview.

If you like it then click the install button and activate it.

You must remember to activate the theme once you've install it as it won't be live otherwise.

Premium Themes

If you want something more special then you may want to buy a premium theme.

This theme, for example, is a premium theme I bought from Theme Forest.

This theme is called Soledad and it's my favorite theme as it's got soooo many customizable elements and features.

It also has dozens of amazing pre-built themes you can install.

Call it the theme with dozens of themes built in.

It really is powerful.

Theme forest is the place to go when looking for a Wordpress theme as they have so many to choose from.

Feel free to check them out if you want something a little nicer.

Uploading a theme manually

If you invest in a premium theme then it's pretty straight forward to install.

SImply head the themes page that you were just on then click upload theme.

Once you've clicked that you'll be prompted to choose a file for the theme you want to upload.

Simply click the choose file button and add the themes .ZIP folder.

Once the theme is uploaded make sure you click activate and then your theme will be installed and active.

Next, we have plugins.

Installing Wordpress Plugins

So, if you don't know what plugins are then let me explain.

So say you have your blog, and you wanted to add something like a social sharing bar.

Something like this social sharing plugin which is at the top and bottom of this post.

Then you would install a plugin which would do that.

For example,

The social sharing bar is called Social Warfare and to add it, you would get the plugin by downloading it form Social Warfare.

You would then upload it to your plugins area on your WordPress backend.

I would advise not to install too many plugins as it will slow down your site.

It's best to use only necessary plugins.

Here's a list of recommended free plugins (that I use).

  • Contact Form 7 – For adding a contact form to your Contact page
  • Easy Table of Contents – For adding a table of contents to your posts (good for SEO but not essential)
  • EWWW Image Optimizer – Increases your page speeds by way of image optimization
  • Google Analytics – Shows you all your website traffic stats
  • Lazy Load by WP Rocket – Helps speed up page loading times
  • Limit Login Attempts – A security plugins to stop multiple login attempts
  • Social Warfare (free or pro version) – Great for Pinterest users!
  • TinyMCE Advanced – Adds more font options when creating blog posts.
  • Wordfence Security – WordPress Firewall developed specifically for WordPress and blocks attackers
  • WP Fastest Cache – Helps speed up your site
  • Yoast SEO – Love this plugin, it's great for on page SEO

NOTE: Some themes require a few extra free plugins to be able to get the maximum functionality.

This is completely normal if the theme requires it.

Just don't go crazy adding loads of plugins that you don't really need.

The ones I mentioned above are all free (except the pro version of Social Warfare) and they can be found by searching the WordPress plugin database.

I'll show you how to do now.

To add a plugin simply click the Plugins tab then Add New on the sidebar on the WordPress backend.

You'll then get taken to the plugins area which you can then search for the plugins you want.

Like the plugins in the recommendation list I gave you.

then once you find the plugin you want, click install and then activate it.

If you have a plugin you've downloaded from somewhere else,

Like a premium plugin like Social Warfare for example, then you can add it manually by clicking upload plugin.

Then once you click Upload plugin you'll see the option to choose a file to upload.

This is where you upload the .ZIP file of the plugin you want to upload.

All plugins come in a .ZIP file so don't worry you don't need to convert any files.

Simply click choose file then select the plugin you want to install from your computer.

Then click install.

NOTE: Make sure you activate your plugins once you've installed them.

If you want to activate or deactivate any plugins just head to the “Installed Plugins” area.

That's where you can access all your plugins.

So now you've done that, you're good to go!

Congratulations! Give yourself a big pat on the back.

You now have your own piece of internet real estate.

Hosted with Bluehost and WordPress installed.

I suggest you have a look around and click all the side tabs on the left and see all the options and get to know your way around the WordPress backend.

At the minute your site will look pretty basic as it has no content.

So this is where the real work begins.

It's time to get working and creating some awesome blog content!

by Alan Young January 1, 2019

9 Quick and easy ways to make money from home in 2019If you're looking for some legitimate quick and easy ways to make money from your home then these 9 ideas will help you do that.

Sometimes we need a quick bit of cash and sometimes we want to make it as easily as possible.

And that's fair enough.

You may be a college kid who's already using most of the time studying so you just want to earn some easy money in your spare time.

Something that can be done when it suits you, not someone else.

Whatever the reason is, I have some good options for you.

There's 9 in total.

Just pick the ones you want to try and get making some quick easy cash.

So, let's get stuck in…

1. Complete surveys.

This may sound too good to be true. But believe me and tens of thousands of others, that's it's not.

You can actually get paid cash to complete surveys with companies such as Survey Junkie.

Survey Junkie pays you cash for every survey you complete.

Survey Junkie is also very trusted. They have a Trust Score of 8.7/10 on Trust Pilot.

Also, the surveys can be fun and enjoyable.

Just sit at home with a cuppa and start filling out surveys for cash.

Click here to join Survey Junkie and start making some easy money at home.

2. See if you're owed cashback.

Paribus is a great simple and easy way to get some cash.

If you shop online then there's a good chance you can start receiving some cash back for your purchases.

If you've purchased something, then the price drops, you could be eligible to receive cash back on your purchase.

The great thing is, Paribus is 100% free to use.

Paribus does all the hard work for you.

When you sign up to Paribus, it scans your emails for purchase receipts within the last 30 days and if there are any eligible claims, then Paribus will detect them and let you know.

THEY will then speak to the companies on your behalf and get the cash back you are owed deposited directly into your bank account.

This doesn't cost you anything and you get 100% of the cash back owed.

3. Get cashback on the usual day to day stuff you buy.

There’s a cool app called Ibotta that gives you cash back on things you usually buy.

That's it.

It's cash back for things you normally buy anyway.

4. Install an APP on your phone for money.

THAT'S IT!

It doesn't get easier than that.

If that doesn't sound like too much hard work then give it a go 🙂

Click here to sign up and make some quick cash.

5. Get paid for watching videos online.

Join Swagbucks!

Swagbucks is a company that actually pays you in cash and gift cards to watch videos online.

Crazy right?

Most people do this every day already, so why not get paid for it!

Swagbucks has already paid over £189,000,000 to its users and you could earn money too.

Click here to sign up to Swagbucks and start earning cash for watching videos now.

6. Rent your spare room on Airbnb

If you have a spare room or two then this can be a great way to earn some quick easy money.

Put your spare room on Airbnb and you can make some decent money.

You can make some pretty good money.

Depending on your rooms you can earn $100's a night.

That can be $1000's a month all from the comfort of your own home.

Pretty sweet ay?

If this sound's like a bit of you, then…

Sign up to be an Airbnb host here.

7. Host a garage sale

This is a quick easy way to make money from your home.

You'll prob only be able to do this a few times a year but you can make some good money for each one you hold.

You've probably got so much more than you realize in your house that you don't need or use that someone else is happy to pay you cash for.

I was sooo surprised when I had a clear out of how much I actually had.

If you have a lot of friends and family then you could ask them if there's some old stuff they don't want anymore and offer to take it off their hands for free.

Then sell it at your garage sale for some extra cash.

8. Sell your old stuff on eBay.

This is sorta like the last one, but you sell your unwanted stuff on eBay.

The only thing is, it's not 100% from home as you'll need to leave your house to go to the post office to post the items you sell.

The good thing though when selling on eBay, you'll have more people see the stuff that you have for sale in comparison to having a yard sale.

I had loads of old computer games from my Sega and Playstation that got me a few hundred dollars.

I got more money on eBay than I would have got from a yard sale.

Click here to head over to eBay to sell your unwanted stuff.

9. Offer Gigs On Fiverr

If you look on Fiverr, you'll see gigs for almost anything.

Can you make logos on Photoshop? Then you can make money on Fiverr!

Good at Morgan Freeman impressions? Then you can STILL make money on Fiverr.

Just take a look at these gigs on Fiverr.

One of those gigs has had 1000+ gigs at $10 a pop!

That's the good thing with Fiverr, you can offer almost anything as a gig (within reason) and make money.

And not all gigs are $5 as you can see above.

Rack your brains, see what you can offer, and…

Sign up to Fiverr and start making money today.

Feel free to give this post a pin if you want to come back later and try any of these out.
